Simon Shun-Man HO

Professor Simon Shun-Man HO has served as President of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) since 16 March 2014.

He was born and received basic education in Hong Kong. He obtained a BA (Management and Psychology) from the University of Washington (USA), a MSc (with Distinction) in Information Systems from the London School of Economics and Political Science (UK), a PhD in Accounting and Finance from the University of Bradford (UK), a Certificate in Higher Education Management and Leadership from the University of California, Berkeley (USA), and a Certificate in Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management from Harvard Business School. He was a Commonwealth Scholar and is a certified public accountant in the UK, Australia and Canada.

Currently, he is Editor of the Asian Journal of Business Ethics (Springer), and Member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Business Ethics (Springer), Advances in Business Ethics Research (Springer), and the “Corporate Governance Literature Series” of Nankai University.

Joshua Ka-Ho MOK

Professor Joshua Ka Ho MOK, is the Provost and Vice-President (Academic & Research) and concurrently Dean of Graduate School and Chair Professor of Comparative Policy of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong.

Professor Mok has successfully established academic, research and administrative expertise not only in Hong Kong but also in Mainland China and the United Kingdom. Before joining The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, he was the Vice President and Lam Man Tsan Chair Professor of Comparative Policy at Lingnan University. Prior to that, Professor Mok has held leadership positions at various universities, including Vice President (Research and Development) and Dean of the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences at The Education University of Hong Kong; Associate Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at The University of Hong Kong; and Chair Professor and Founding Director of the Centre of East Asian Studies at the University of Bristol, United Kingdom.

Yer-Van HUI

Acting Vice-President (Organisational Development)
The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong

Professor Yer-Van HUI is currently the Acting Vice-President (Organisational Development) of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong.  He has extensive work experiences in overseas and local universities. He taught at National University of Singapore, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, University of New South Wales and City University of Hong Kong before joining HSUHK.

Professor Hui received his PhD from Virginia Tech and his research interests include Business Analytics and Operations Management. He has received many government and non-government research grants. He publishes in Management Science, Operations Research, Transportation Science, Transportation Research, IEEE Transactions, Journal of the American Statistical Association and Journal of the Royal Statistical Society, etc. He was the Co-Investigator of the Research Grant Council Theme Based Research in Health Management.

Professor Hui has been active in professional services and consultancy work serving government and business sectors. His clients include the Government of HKSAR, Accenture, MTR and HKJC.

Jeanne Ho-Ying FU

Professor Jeanne Ho-Ying FU obtained her PhD from The University of Hong Kong and upon graduation, she joined Stanford Graduate School of Business, Stanford University as a post-doctoral fellow. Prior to joining HSUHK, she has worked in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and City University of Hong Kong. She is primarily interested in how multiculturals organise and use their cultural knowledge learnt from different cultural traditions, and how people from different cultures vary in their lay perception of social actions. Recently, she develops theoretical frameworks that explain individual behaviours in cross-cultural settings, such as multiculturalism, expatriation and inter-cultural interactions, and applies her theories in various organisational behaviours such as leadership, conflict resolution and team dynamics.
